Recognizing Excellence
It has been said that no university can be better than its faculty, and Mississippi State owes its excellence in research and teaching to the truly distinguished group of individuals who call this institution their academic home.
While it would be impossible to highlight all the great work that goes on throughout the year, the Office of the Provost celebrates faculty accomplishments and milestones by honoring recently tenured and promoted colleagues. This includes the presentation of a series of annual awards, nominations for which are sought from the University community at large earlier in the semester.
